Professor Langley Awarded with Silver Jubilee Medal from Chromatographic Society

And the award goes to… Professor John Langley!

He is a beacon of excellence in the realm of separation science. We are thrilled to announce that Professor Langley has been honoured with the prestigious 2024 Silver Jubilee Medal by The Chromatographic Society!

Leading the characterisation and analytics section at the University of Southampton, Professor Langley has dedicated decades to groundbreaking research in the separation and detection of polymeric materials, organometallics, and various (bio)pharmaceuticals. With over 130 publications (>4000 citations) and an h-index of 35, his scholarly impact is unmatched. Additionally, he was recognized by the British Mass Spectrometry Society with their BMSS Medal in 2021.

His contributions extend beyond the laboratory, as exemplified by his leadership role within the UK separation science space and advocacy for diversity and inclusion.

Our collaboration with Professor Langley has been transformative, and we are truly honoured to work alongside him. The testimonials from the University of Southampton highlight the profound impact of our cutting-edge PEGASUS® HRT 4D GC×GC-TOFMS and BT 4D GCxGC-TOFMS. Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, our partnership persevered, resulting in a world-class laboratory environment.

As we celebrate this well-deserved recognition, we express our gratitude to Professor Langley for his dedication to our company’s vision. We look forward to many more years of successful collaboration on all our separation science product lines, pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery together.

Congratulations, Professor Langley!
