Perrault Uptmor, PI of the Nontargeted Separations Laboratory , present her work of screening samples using comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GCXGC-TOFMS) in forensic applications as novel types of evidence appear. Dr. Perrault Uptmor highlights initial approaches to method development for new samples and show recent applications related to chemical profiling of deposited fingermarks, organic gunshot residue and decomposition odor.
